Photos From Gurusports Martial Arts 2000 to 2006

This was a public demonstration in the main street of Onehunga 2001. There was a huge street festival and parade  and the Jordan Recreation Centre was asked to contribute by the 'Onehunga Business Committee' ( not sure if this is the right name). We were still training at the Rec. Centre at that stage

Just a few of the Gurusports Onehunga martial Arts Students.  From 2000 to the end of 2003 we were an unifiliated  school of self defence. In 2004 we became a official branch of ITFNZ, Known as Gurusports Onehunga Branch.

This was the second hall we used, called the Onehunga Senior Citizens  Club, Prior to this we were using the Jordan Rec centre basket ball stadium. in 2004 we moved to the new Onehung Comunity Centre next to the bus depot. There were a regular 20-30 students training twice a week for 2 hours and 6-10 adults training directly after for two hours.
